Family Days in Cleveland – February 14, 2026
Celebrating Slovenian Heritage at Cleveland Kurentovanje!
KSKJ Life was proud to participate in Cleveland Kurentovanje 2026, a lively celebration of Slovenian culture, traditions and community!
Members, families and friends joined KSKJ Life in the annual parade, celebrating alongside the famous Kurents as they carried on the centuries-old tradition of chasing away winter and welcoming spring.
It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with our members, celebrate our Slovenian roots and share in a tradition that brings generations together.
Thank you to everyone who walked with KSKJ Life and helped make this year’s celebration special! We look forward to celebrating with you again next year.
Family Days in Joliet – October 4, 2026
Celebrating Slovenian Heritage and Community!
KSKJ Life was proud to serve as a main sponsor of the 5th Annual Grape Harvest: Slovenian Polka Festival in Joliet! This special celebration brought together families, friends and community members for a day filled with lively polka music, Slovenian heritage and community fun.
Guests enjoyed live entertainment from Ray Koncar & the Boys and Jeff Winard’s Polka Party Band, along with trolley rides to the Planinsek Grocery & Meat Market Museum.
As an organization with deep Slovenian roots, KSKJ Life is proud to support events that celebrate our heritage and bring generations together. Thank you to everyone who attended, stopped by our booth and helped make this year’s festival a wonderful celebration! We look forward to continuing this tradition of community, culture and connection.
