Family Days in Cleveland – February 14, 2026
Step into the excitement of Cleveland Kurentovanje, a lively celebration of Slovenian culture and one of the most energetic festivals of the year! Watch as the mystical Kurents roam the streets in their centuries-old ritual to chase away winter and welcome the arrival of spring. Enjoy upbeat music, delicious Slovenian food and drinks, and hands-on cultural activities the whole family will love.

KSKJ Life members, family, friends, and neighbors came together to walk the parade route and celebrate this vibrant community tradition. Everyone who walked with KSKJ Life received complimentary KSKJ swag on parade day.
Family Days in Joliet – October 4, 2026
KSKJ Life is excited to once again support the Grape Harvest: Slovenian Polka Festival in Joliet, celebrating its 5th year this fall! This annual celebration brings together music, dancing, Slovenian heritage and plenty of community fun—and KSKJ Life is proud to be a main sponsor of this year’s event. And there’s great news for 2026: admission is FREE for everyone!

Date: October 4, 2026 | 1pm-8pm
Enjoy an afternoon and evening featuring live entertainment from Ray Koncar & the Boys, the Marela Slovenian Dancers, and Jeff Winard’s Polka Party Band. Guests can also hop on the trolley and visit the Planinsek Grocery & Meat Market Museum from 1–7 p.m. Whether you come for the polka, the dancing, the Slovenian traditions or simply a fun afternoon with family and friends, we’d love to see you there!
