St. Joseph Lodge #2 and St. Genevieve’s Lodge #29 Inaugural Chili Cookoff
A social gathering will be held with both lodges in attendance. A chili cookoff between members of both lodges is planned, and a winner determined. Mostly just for fun and to allow our lodges to interact together. Non members will be encouraged to attend. Hoping to continue as an annual event and invite additional participation.

St. Joe's Lodge #2 will partner with St. Genevieve Lodge #29 to participate in this matching fund event. Our member volunteers, along with Lodge #29 volunteer members, will assist in the preparation and set up of St. Joe's Park Hall on Thursday before Good Friday for the fish fry. 2024 Bowling Tournament
Cleveland is please to host the 2024 Bowling tournament. The tournament will take place the weekend of April 12 with socials at the Slovenian Home on East 80th and bowling at Roll House Lanes in Parma, team event Saturday morning and double and single Sunday morning. KSKJ Days Lodge #2 – Join Hands Day
St. Joseph Lodge #2 volunteers will meet at Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet, IL, to assist in Spring vegetation clean up and new flower planting. Our volunteers interact and work with residents to beautify the immediate grounds for outdoor summer enjoyment of residents and their family members visiting. Volunteers are encouraged to bring gloves and gardening tools.

A mass will be held at St. Joseph Church in honor of our patron saint Marija Pomagaj, and a reception will follow with snacks and refreshments. Traditional Slovenian music will be played - dancing optional! Mike Vidmar has been arranging this event since 1996 and is attended by Lodge Numbers 2 (St. Joseph), 29 (St. Francis) and 143 (St. John).
