NEWBORN BABY BENEFIT (7th through the 60th Day of Birth)
Newborns are currently insured for $1,000 from the seventh day of birth through the sixtieth day of birth inclusive as long as the parent(s) have been KSKJ Life members for one year prior to baby's birth.
Maximum benefit is $3,000 in cases of multiple births.
Claims must be filed within 18 months from child's date of death for benefit to be paid.
The Newborn Baby Benefit is free. No premium will be charged and payment will be made regardless of any other insurance coverage.
Remember, though, this benefit is temporary and should be supplemented with a more permanent KSKJ life insurance plan.
NEWBORN BABY BENEFIT (61st day through before the baby's first birthday)
After the 60th day of birth, KSKJ Life will pay $50 towards the first year's premium on the following life insurance plans:
- Whole Life
- 20-Pay Whole Life
- 10-Pay Whole Life
- Single Premium Whole Life
Face amounts and premium minimums must be met.
Grandparents may purchase the insurance for their grandchild and be owners of the certificate, as long as the baby's parent(s) are listed as the beneficiaries.
Parent(s) or Grandparent(s) must have been a member of KSKJ Life for at least one year prior to child's birth.
An application must be submitted within one year of the child's birth.
SPECIAL NEWBORN BABY BENEFIT (61st day through before the baby's first birthday)
In cases where a baby is uninsurable, KSKJ Life will guarantee a 10-Pay Whole Life plan for a face amount of insurance of $5,000 and will pay $50 towards the first year's premium.
Grandparents may purchase the insurance for their grandchild and be owners of the certificate, as long as the baby's parent(s) are listed as the beneficiaries.
Parent(s) or Grandparent(s) must have been a member of KSKJ Life for at least one year prior to child's birth.
An application must be submitted within one year of the child's birth.
